The Remote Scribe Company is expanding and hiring part-time Virtual / Remote Contracted Medical Scribes to join our team and grow with us. This specific work-from-home medical scribe requiring the ability to work 23 hours per week, working 8:30 am to 4 pm Eastern Standard Time and off Tuesday and Thursday. Having previous experience using Cerner EMR in a clinical setting is required.

Our medical scribes, while working remotely/virtually from the safety of their own homes, transcribes the clinical provider/patient office visit virtually, in real-time via the internet. The scribe enters relevant information into the patient’s chart in the EMR software system live. The scribe and provider are connected audibly and share screens. There is no recording or video. Just as if the scribe was in the clinic room but is not - it is done virtually.

Our model is unique where our scribes are matched to one provider and work for one provider allowing our scribes to become an efficient documentation team with their provider.

Pay for this position is $14 per hour. .

Required Qualifications:

• Available to work 23 hrs/wk; Mon, Wed, and Friday 8:30 to 4pm Eastern Standard Time and off Tue and Thur.
• 4+ years of previous medical field employment experiences
• 2+ years of clinical Cerner EMR experience.
• Type 60 WPM on a typing speed test.
• Have a home environment where you can work without being distracted and can complete the entire assigned daily shift without interruptions or need to leave work to take or pick up children from school during the assigned shift
• Be very familiar and experienced with using/completing all sections of the SOAP notes in a clinical patient-provider setting.
