Northrop Grumman is seeking Cyber Systems Engineers. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Intelligence and Sensing Solutions organization and assigned to one of our projects within the organization. This position's work location is in Annapolis Junction Maryland and is part of the Mission Systems Sector within Northrop Grumman. The new team member will be designing and developing new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer's enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
• Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile).
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required for some positions.
• Knowledge of SysML and Model based system Engineering concepts.
• System Engineering design experience either in school or in a work environment.
• Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• An ability to interface with external entities is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
• Knowledge of Basic System Engineering concepts
• Knowledge Model Based System Engineering tools including CAMEO.
• Knowledge of SysML.
• Experience with creating Use Cases, Activity Diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, Sequence diagrams, etc. in CAMEO to satisfy system requirements.

Salary Range: $74,900 USD - $112,300 USD

Salary Range 2: $90,600 USD - $136,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
