The role of the Office Assistant is to ensure organization of documents, timely reporting and communication to Management of business related matters. The Office Assistant serves as the gate keeper to information which includes assisting in HR and personnel file management, invoice tracking, coordination of all month end duties and receiving of inventories, on-boarding preparation and cash management.
Job Descriptions
- Manage office email account, responding to guest inquiries or forwarding message on to appropriate contact for correspondence
- Serve as Gift Card inquiry contact; responding to all questions and troubleshooting purchase issues
- Maintaining an orderly filing system for easy access to current and historical records such as: invoices and employee document files
- Human Resources- assisting new hires with onboarding paperwork and verifying work authorization documentation; maintaining electronic employee personnel files
- Providing clerical and administrative support to Management as requested
- Creating clear, concise written correspondence as directed by Management (letters of recommendation, letters of employment, letters of gratitude to our loyal guests, etc.)
- Purchasing supplies and equipment as authorized by Management
- Monitoring office supply and uniform levels and reordering as necessary
- Support restaurant's operations by maintaining office systems
- Menu printing and assembly
- Answering phones as needed
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Demonstrating strong customer service tendencies at all times
Qualifications: working knowledge of Microsoft suite, Acrobat and Adobe programs
Job Type: Part-Time
