Are you interested in working for a world top 100 University? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Creative Media Support Technician with experience of producing multimedia work and/or operating a range of recording equipment.

Working closely with the Creative Media Technician, Learning Technologist and academic colleagues in the department of Journalism Studies, your main responsibilities will be to provide advice and support to students and staff on the use of the creative media facilities and on the use of a wide range of portable recording equipment. You will also maintain the equipment in the Technical Store and oversee the equipment booking system.

You should have a BTEC level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) and be confident in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud Applications including Adobe Premiere & Photoshop. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technically complicated information to novice users is also essential.
