Job description

Job purpose

This position will produce 3D models and accurate drawings for component parts and assemblies of hydraulic cylinders per verbal and written specification provided by design engineers. Must also review drawings and designs to ensure accuracy to design specifications.

Duties and responsibilities

· Create 3D models and generate customer approval drawings of custom hydraulic cylinders

· Produce component and subassembly drawings for manufacturing

· Examine drawings for accuracy of conformity to Design Engineers specifications

· Prepare variations of designs

· Work hand in hand with sales and engineering staff

· Management retains the right to assign or change responsibilities up request

Qualifications

Minimum Education: 2-year Associate’s Degree in Drafting or in process

Skills Preferred: Must have a background with Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks. Must have good communication skills (both verbal and written). Must be detail oriented with a high attention to accuracy. Must also be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at the same time
