Growing airport parking company is seeking a self-starter and enthusiastic mechanic with a fairly young (2017-2019) fleet of airport shuttle vans. We run 24/7 which allows for flexible hours and is perfect for anybody from a retired mechanic who isn’t ready to put down the tools or a fresh graduate from tech school looking to gain experience and knowledge. The fleet is a collection of Ford Transit 350HD gasoline vans, familiarity with these vehicles is a plus but not a requirement.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

· Repairs and maintain shuttle vans, lot trucks/snow plows, salt spreader using in-house preventative maintenance schedule

· Repairs vary from basic oil and fluid changes, Injectors, spark plugs, all the way up to engine/transmission replacement as needed

· Order parts as needed and maintain records of all purchases and repairs completed.

· Applicant must provide own hand tools

· Workplace flexibility to provide assistance when needed to complete any job given to a satisfactory result

· Computer skills to input work orders and use laptop based scan tool to diagnose and repair vehicles as needed.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical repairs of both OEM vehicle and up fitter body modules.

· A/C and heat principles and knowledge to diagnose and repair

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Suspension and complete brake system repairs

· Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug test

· Must be dependable, honest, and able to work with limited supervision.

· Physical requirements include the ability to kneel, stoop, sit, climb on and lay under shuttle vans and plow equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
