Job description

We have a nice family who needs to hire a nanny to help with the children's routines, care and household. There are three children, ages 13, 6 and 3. The 3-year-old has a rare genetic disorder characterized by developmental delay. However, she is fully functioning.

The ideal schedule is:

Monday-Friday 6:00am-8:00am and 2pm- until bedtime, plus occasional weekends. However, the father can work out the schedule with the nanny as long as they have care from after school until bedtime.

The job duties include:

• Assist with getting children ready in the morning
• Help with walking the dog when the kids go to school.
• Occasionally drive the kids to school
• Pick kids up in the afternoons and assist with activities of the day.
• Help with homework when home and feed kids dinner.
• Bathe both girls and get them ready for bed.

Typical schedule:

All children attend school. Up by 6am to get ready and have breakfast. Leave for school by 7:10am. Kids are picked up at 3pm. Monday one has dance, Tuesday figure skating. Tuesday therapy horse riding in the morning. Tuesday - Thursday hockey practice for son. Thursday afternoon speech therapy at home. Friday figure skating for daughter.

The ideal nanny:

• Bilingual, loving, nurturing and comforting. Kids need someone that is soft spoken and caring.

Pay rate starts at $25 per hour.

Hiring Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Must speak good English
• Excellent references
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Have reliable transportation
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Have a stable work history
• Have no criminal record
• Be drug-free
