The Healthcare Operations Manager is a key member of the Central Healthcare Operations Team. The role supports pharmacy and nurse clinics to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently, leads the Healthcare Co-ordinator team and manages key relationships with external providers.
Here's the exciting bit…a day includes
Line Management of the Healthcare Co-ordinator Team
Supporting with ongoing development
Ensuring inboxes and requests are responded to in an efficient and professional manner
Managing team workload to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time
Develop and deliver the Locum Strategy to ensure that all pharmacies have Responsible Pharmacist cover while being cost efficient
Building relationships with new and existing Locum Agencies and maximising performance
Ensuring pharmacy and nurse clinic teams have the tools they require to work safely and efficiently
Reviewing current processes to lead on improvements and efficiencies to reduce in-store workload
Delivering efficiencies through new technologies
Manage Projects when required to support Easy Pharmacy and Easy Clinic
Managing launch and delivery of new and existing NHS services across all home nations to maximise participation and income
Management of NHS Systems as a Superuser; namely NHS Mail, MYS and Directory of Services
Ensure positive relationships with all key stakeholders for areas of responsibility are maintained through delivery of service levels
Provide Central Support for Pharmacy and Clinic field teams
Point of contact for general Pharmacy and Clinic queries
Regularly review store communications, ensuring they are fit for purpose, relevant and easy to understand
Supporting the Senior Healthcare Operations Manager in overall delivery of the Healthcare Strategy

Have an understanding of the NHS Pharmacy contractual framework and the requirements
You are good at reviewing current processes to suggest improvements and efficiencies

You are curious and happy to explore existing and new technologies
You enjoy training others and are happy to develop and maintain training documents
You have strong influencing and networking skills and enjoy building new relationships across all departments
You can adapt your style to suit your audience and you are comfortable translating technical information into day-to-day language
What you’ll need:
You’ll need to work well in a team while still delivering projects on your own
You’ll need a firm grasp of our in-store processes
A background in healthcare
Experience in delivering projects from launch to completion
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and communicate with stakeholders of all levels
Excellent attention to detail
Passion for the brand and getting things right for our in-store teams
