Partnership of Yakima Valley Memorial and Comprehensive Healthcare, Garden Village is a skilled nursing facility, providing the highest level of comfort-driven, quality care to those with complex and long-term medical and psychiatric needs.
We are currently looking for caring hospitality aides to fill immediate openings for Day and Evening 4-hour shifts. If you enjoy caring for others and would like to work part-time we want you!
Candidates for this position should be looking for a challenging, fun and energetic environment. They should be able to think critically on their feet and prioritize resident safety and care needs.
Requirements:The Hospitality Aide is responsible for assisting nursing assistants with non-direct resident care needs. The Hospitality Aide will interact daily with residents in a behavioral health setting which requires patience and kindness.
- Provide a pleasant, positive and calm environment for residents.
- Communicates and works smoothly with residents, families, supervisors and co-workers.
- Respect and abide Resident Rights.
- Maintains confidentiality in all things related to the resident.
- Assist residents at meal times, passing out meal trays and assist with eating (after training completed).
- Checks for clean linen and assist in removal of soiled linens.
- Transport residents to and from dining rooms for meals and activities.
- Assist passing nourishments to the residents
- Help answer call lights
- Make beds and straighten up rooms.
- Other duties as assigned
