The Role

We are looking to recruit a HR Officer to join the team on a fully remote basis. This is a busy and varied role for an experienced HR generalist where you will advise, guide and support staff and managers across the University community. You will support our HR Business Partners and the wider HR function as well forming true partnerships with our Campus Deans and management teams across the UK.
You will also have the opportunity to work on some exciting projects which include; onboarding of colleagues, wellbeing, talent management updating policies and supporting the delivery of management training. and our wellbeing programme.
As a HR Officer at The University of Law, you will:
- Advise, guide and support staff and managers across our UK campuses
- With the support of the Senior HR Business Partner, deal with complex or sensitive day to day people management issues
- Assist in elements of recruitment activity to support the need for resource
- Act as first point of contact for any employee relations issues
- Support, develop and coach people managers to manage employee relations issues using
ULaw policies, procedures and best practice
We are looking for individuals with:
- Substantial experience working at an operational level as a HR Advisor/Officer or equivalent
- Experience of advising managers on a range of people matters
- An understanding and commitment to promoting ED&I
- CIPD level 5 qualified
