Work Hours and Ratios:

The LPN Assists in the provision of resident care by performing professional nursing duties established policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITY:

• Assists with diagnostic procedures and therapeutic measures as directed
• Performs direct care and evaluates all other personnel in providing optimum nursing care measures as directed.
• Recognizes significant changes in the conditions of residents and takes necessary action, including documentation
• Orders, prepares, administers, and documents medications.
• Administers and documents prescribed treatments therapy:
• Supervises direct resident care personnel
• Participates in regular staff meetings and Staff Development as required
• Attends twelve (12) hours per year of in-service
• Consults with Charge Nurse, Director of Nursing and other disciplines to provide optimum care
• Documents on 24-hour report as necessary
• Must be able to communicate with resident, patient, families, public and co-workers.
• Attend and participate in continuing educational programs

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Nursing Assistant certificate from a state approved program.
• Valid in good standing license through the State of Arizona Board of Nursing.
• Current fingerprint clearance card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• Must have one-year of Skilled Nursing experience

PHYSICAL DEMAND:

• Able to sit, stand, bend, lift and move intermittently during working hours
• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Prolong standing, walking

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
