It’s an exciting time to join the legacies team as we expand our team to meet our ambitious goals. You’ll play a vital role supporting our two Legacy Managers’ across a wide range of administrative activities and will primarily focus on our current legacy cases and freewill services, being the first port of call for many of our supporters.
Parkinson’s UK has been receiving an increasing number of gifts in wills and you’ll bring excellent organisational and prioritisation skills along with a compassionate approach to a new role in the legacy team.
This role offers industry recognised training opportunities in charity legacy administration for the right candidate along with membership of the Institute of Legacy Management, to support your legacy career development at a remarkable time in the charity legacy sector.
What you'll do
- Manage the creation of new legacy case files and incoming legacy notifications
- Be responsible for scanning & distributing all incoming post
- Record all income onto First Class database, applying restrictions when required
- Own management of some pecuniary legacy case files
What you'll bring
- Demonstrable working knowledge and experience of charity legacy processes and working in a busy administrative role
- An excellent eye for detail and accuracy in checking over the finer details in legacy records
- Self-starter, able to manage and prioritise your own workload and meet changing demands
- Proven experience & evidence of sensitive and compassionate communication, both written and verbal

As well as flexible working hours, this role is offered on a flexible contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home, on an agreed working pattern. You will be required to cover your own travel expenses to the office.
