Basic Purpose:

A circuit board assembler works to build electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCB) to prepare the boards for use. Your responsibilities in this career are to follow diagrams and sample boards, select the correct components from the bins, and align and insert them in the boards using your fingers and hand tools.

Essential Functions:

- Hand assembly of small parts into Printed Circuit Boards. Parts range in size from #4 screws to several inches.

- Using hand tools such as pliers and screwdrivers.

- Desired - Using soldering irons and related tools to assemble connectors and other parts to the PCBs..

- Performing visual inspection of all parts that pass through the workstation

- High attention to detail with respect to working with your hands.

-Attendance

-Being prompt and on time for shift.

Desired experience and skills:

- Reading work instructions and diagrams for the proper sequence of operations.

- Handling and assembling small parts

- - Using hand and power tools.

- Soldering skills

-Non Exempt/Hourly

-A skills test for soldering maybe required as a prerequisite to hiring.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
