We are looking for a Porter to take care of our Adminstrative building and carry out cleaning duties. The goal is to keep our buildings in a clean and orderly condition. This position is based out of our Regional Office in Portsmouth, New Hamphire. However, the ideal candidate will live and work in Maine, and travel between four sites to perform janitorial duties. This person will work independantly and carry a professional demeanor when interacting with our clients.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Perform and document routine inspections of quality
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills

• Proven working experience as a janitor
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• High school degree

Schedule:

• Day shift 8-4:30pm
• Weekend availability

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
