The EITS team supports the many efforts of our defense and intelligence customers to solve complex technical challenges. Successful candidates who are newly hired to BAE Systems are eligible to receive a sign on bonus of $5,000. Details of this sign on bonus will be provided in the offer letter. Relocation is available for qualified candidates. DC3 positions are hybrid roles. Anticipate on-site 2-3 days per week with flexibility. Candidates need to be located local to the worksite, but will be able to participate in hybrid remote work.

BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Network Architect Developer to design, plan, and test network communication systems. Candidates will apply their technical and professional skillsets to provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Candidates will conduct cost/benefit analysis and provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Candidates May be assigned responsibility for the management of the systems administration function, including associated staff. Candidates will apply their technical and professional skillsets to migrate existing applications to Azure cloud.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct testing of network design
• Monitor network hardware operations to ensure properly set configuration options
• Plan implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network
• Advise network users of hardware requirements, configurations, and limitations
• Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc
• Evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
• Perform a range of network, system, security and software administration functions
