We are looking for a site supervisor to join our Southern Region rail team delivering civil engineering projects for Network Rail across Kent, Sussex and Wessex. You will be joining a growing team and a diverse portfolio of projects.

Experience in working with a Railway Construction Environment with regards to self delivering Civil Engineering Works; including lineside civils, foundations and cable management systems. Along with geotechnical schemes including earthworks, king post walls, gabion baskets and sheet piling.


What you'll be doing

  • Interface between the Construction Manager / Site Agent and construction activities on site.
  • To supervise civils works to ensure they are undertaken safely and in accordance with approved methodologies.
  • Attend meeting as required for Safe Planning and Delivery of works within possessions, including sub-contractor progress meetings / Safety meetings.
  • Undertake PGI / Safety inspections
  • Undertake briefings on planned works to Subcontractors
  • Undertake submission of daily shift reports

Who we're looking for
  • PTS certified.
  • Computer literate: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Be a strong team worker and ability to build relationships across the team on site.
  • Strong communicator using verbal and written methods.
  • Experience in working with a Railway Construction Environment with regards to Civil Engineering Works, including foundations and cable management systems
  • Experience of railway geotechnical works including earthworks, king post walls, gabion baskets and sheet piling
