GLP Auditor (2203800 ) - Research Triangle Park, NC (Hybrid)

This position will have the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, according to company policy and business needs.

Where the Chemistry Happens

The GLP Auditor ensures compliance with the GLP quality standards for regulatory studies as failure of BASF to comply with the EPA GLP regulatory requirements can result in delays or cancelled product registration.

Formula for Success

Assures that studies, personnel, and the BASF testing facility are in compliance with the EPA GLP requirements by independently planning, conducting and reporting study-based and testing facility-based inspections. Proactively acts to identify and resolve significant compliance challenges. Considers implications of their proposed solutions. Supports regulatory inspections/audits.

Independently inspects contract facilities to assess the level of compliance under FIFRA Good Laboratory Practice standards; recognizing deviations from the promulgated GLP standard and the magnitude of these deviations is critical.

Ingredients for success

BS in chemistry, biotechnology, life sciences or the equivalent – having 6+ years relevant laboratory experience or an advanced degree with 4+ years relevant laboratory experience

A thorough knowledge and understanding of the EPA FIFRA and/or OECD Good Laboratory Practice regulations

Must have relevant, hands-on experience working in a regulated environment (working under EPA FIFRA GLP is a plus)

Experience as a GLP Auditor is a plus

Knowledge in field and laboratory procedures, as well as being part of a multidisciplinary team.

Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office) and know-how of relevant databases and software

Team player: flexible, open to changing environment and pro-active attitude

Effective and proactive communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written English

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills directed toward the completion of task-oriented procedures

Able to work under time pressure
